Rules & Restrictions

1. Contest Name

The official title of the contest is "Ace Bounty, Season 1 presented by Another Round Austin."

2. Sponsor Information

The contest is organized by Another Round Austin. For inquiries, contact Nick Barr at anotherroundaustin@gmail.com.

3. Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Restrictions: Participants under 18 must have permission and be accompanied by an adult to collect prizes.

  • Geographical Limitations: Participants must be able to collect prizes at Another Round Austin's location in Austin, TX.

  • Other Restrictions: No additional eligibility criteria apply.

4. Entry Period

  • Start Date and Time: The contest begins on December 9, 2024.

  • End Date and Time: The contest concludes when the last ace is collected.

5. How to Enter

  • Entry Method: Play disc golf in Austin and record your shot on one of the 18 designated ace bounty holes. If you hit an ace on camera, submit the video by posting it on Instagram or bringing it to the shop. The first player to prove they have hit the ace wins that hole. Once an ace is hit, that hole is removed from the bounty list. Only one winner per hole is allowed.

  • Entry Limits: There is no limit on the number of entries per person. However, players must not impede the movement of other players on the course.

6. Prizes

The 18 holes are divided into three levels, each offering specific prizes:

  • Level 1: Winners receive a shop hat and a $10 gift card.

  • Level 2: Winners receive a shop shirt and a $20 gift card.

  • Level 3: Winners receive a shop hoodie and a $30 gift card.

Additionally, every ace earns a Season One Ace pin.

  • Quantity: One prize per designated hole, totaling 18 prizes.

  • Value: The approximate retail value of each prize ranges from $40 to $300.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

  • Selection Process: Winners are determined by being the first to submit valid proof of hitting an ace on a designated hole.

  • Notification Method: Winners will be informed upon submission of their video evidence.

  • Claim Period: Winners have three months from the notification date to claim their prize.

8. Additional Terms

  • Conduct: Participants must not impede the play of other golfers.

  • Publicity Rights: By entering, participants consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

  • Liability Release: Participants agree to release the sponsor from any liability. In Texas, for a liability waiver to be enforceable, it must meet the "fair notice" requirements, including the express negligence doctrine and conspicuousness.

  • Governing Law: The contest is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
